If you move the file to another path, the file will not be recognized. In fact, the default save path cannot be changed. But you can try to connect the phone to your computer and access the above path.ģ/4. If the files are not listed, I am afraid your phone system can't allow us to access that path. However, most devices allow access to that location if connected via USB to a PC/Mac, and its file transfer is used. Is your phone running Android 11? Unfortunately, Android11 has made changes to the access and does not allow file access to /Android/data/ out of the box on the device. I am hoping to keep copies of unedited files (pre-edited?) as I know I'm going to mess things up when I start to edit photos and videos.ġ/2. I'm guessing these index files are needed and would prevent me from just copying the video and photo files from one card to another. I haven't checked the 512 GB card, but would assume there is an index file there too. There appears to be an index file of some sort on the root of the 64GB card. How can I combine the contents of one SD card with another SD card? I started recording on a 64GB card and then switched to a 512 GB card.ES File Explorer is version 3.2.5.3, from way back when it was still a good app without all the the crapware embedded. Both the Samsung My Files app and an old version of ES File Explorer were used to look for the files. After viewing every folder I can find on internal memory and the SD card, I am at a loss. The path: /Android/data/360akiko/files/Insta360OneX2/galleryOriginal was identified in one post, but I do not have any folders in /Android/data/. When I download videos and photos from the camera using the app, where are they stored?Ĭan I copy files from an SD card into that location?Ĭan the Insta360 app on the phone be configured to use the SD card for its' primary storage location? I hope to use the phone to edit my videos for now. The phone has 128 GB internal storage and a 128 GB SD card installed. So I guess seeing it positively, more is possible than I first thought.I have a One X2 and am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with the Insta360 app version 1.7.1 installed. sdocx type: is visible in file manager can be renamed and moved can be opened directly with Note app # within the Note app': document / file can be moved but not renamed (just use save as and delete) can't see properties of the file not visible at all via file manager app There is confusingly then two slightly different logics it seems: Have also in the meantime discovered that there is a kind of logic similar to what I was describing in this ticket, but that it seems to be one of two ways to work with Samsung Notes documents, which in turn depends on whether the document is saved as a note within the app (in which case, document isn't completely separately recognisable) or whether any note is saved outside the application via the "save as" menu, as a Samsung Notes file, e.g.sdocx file type (in which case more is possible). Have just updated to vers 4.2.04.27 of the Samsung notes app so not sure what, if anything changed with this latest update Someone in the US already asked my question above - according to a Google search for an answer by me - but it seems I can't reply there without creating a new user?Īdmins - please help ? How am I supposed to use this resource? The eu.community search from within these support pages doesn't find this topic!! Can I reach / access the US Samsung Community for replies? - seems it's a completely different logical area where my user's not recognised - nonsense, if that's where more answers reside!! Presumably someone has already worked out this bit of the Samsung file logic and can explain to me? Thanks.Ģ. In a similar fashion I can't search for and find with My Files an S note document, nor is it a "recent file" for this purpose? But I'd like the freedom to navigate to the file and do this myself, more like at the operating level, rather than rely on the app. With a Note9 and Android10 it seems this isn't possible? I can rename by saving as something new and then delete. S Note default file paths Unlike in old versions of Notes app / Android I could see / follow a path to individual S note documents and for example rename and check on properties of a document of this type.
